We don’t want to be loved, not truly. I don’t think we were ever designed to just be loved. Can we be loved? Oh yes. But do we thrive when we are only loved? No.

We all want to love someone, that is the core of every relationship, when two people choose to love each other well. If we only wanted to be loved, would we not settle for the guy who likes us? Or the girl who is pining after us? Would we not just be ready to love whoever walked into our lives next?

We were created to love, to give, and cherish one another, that is our true joy; We want to find someone who we can love, and who wants to love us back.

What I’m trying to say is that when that person doesn’t love you back, it’s okay; someone will love you just as you love them.
